Aligarh Muslim University Malappuram Centre was established by A.M.U. in 2010. The Centre is located in the educationally and socially backward, Muslim-majority Malappuram District of Kerala.

The Human Resource Development Centre, University of Kerala was instituted in 1987 by the UGC. The HRDC now functions in the Golden Jubilee Building at Kariavattom with core – Academic Staff Consisting of a Professor who is also the Director and non-Academic Staff consisting of an Administrative Officer and a team of staff.
